Writing a Story Book

We just read various stories with beginning, a middle and an end. Now it’s our turn to share a new story.

  • What is the beginning of the story? -> What happens first?
  • What is the middle of the story? -> What happens next?
  • What is the end of the story? -> How does it end?

Below is my son’s original short story book. He made this on his own. (I purposely made it a little blurry just in case my son wants to edit and publish it someday…) :))

By Gavin Nacario

It’s truly amazing how a child’s mind work. It’s interesting to see the power of their imagination. Let’s nurture and help them develop their creativity and imagination.

As Maria Montessori said, “Our aim is not merely to make the child understand, and still less to force him to memorize, but so to touch his imagination as to enthuse him to his innermost core.”

Read. Imagine. Create. Write.

God bless everyone!

“A child can teach an adult three things: To be happy for no reason, to always be curious, to fight tirelessly for something.”

Paulo Coelho
