We Made It!

May 18, 2021 (just right for his 7th b-day on the 19th!… woohooo!!!)

Done with S.Y. 2020-2021! Who would have thought that we can make it?

This S.Y. is one of a roller coaster rides. Started with some hesitation and doubt, enthusiasm and joy but over the time, feeling of weariness and frustration.

Yes, I got thrilled with this new chapter of our lives but also got crazy at times especially with all the things that I have to do as mom, wife and being the all around homemaker. Thinking and overthinking is overwhelming and can really kill us.

As I walked through this homeschooling journey, I learned and relearning. A lot of humps and bumps but with God’s grace and help, we made it through! Special mention to the support system at home – my hubby and extended family, as well as to the group chats of the homeschooling moms.

In this journey, learning from my own experiences and other people’s experiences helps me a lot in the success of my own doing. Never stop learning. We are never too old to learn new skills or master things we’re already good at.

Time management and organization are two major important skills we have to carry out as for my personal experience. Manage and organize things by writing / noting it down. Plan well and pray harder.

Yes, it is tiring but very much fulfilling. Seeing the developments of our son and at his best was one of the greatest gifts we can ever ask for.

All glory to our God alone. Without Him I am nothing. Without Him I can’t do all this. As the bible says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” The Lord is our strength, our ever present help in times of trouble.

Philippians 2:13 also says, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Trust and believe. Surrender it all to God and He will take care of everything.

God bless us all!

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NIV)
