Hoorah! The school year is over but it doesn’t mean that we’ll stop learning and just relax for the rest of the summer vacation. Yes, it is vacation but the learning never stops.
The global pandemic limits our movement at home so here we go again thinking of something to make our time productive. Aside from a thrice a week Taekwondo online classes, we thought of enrolling our son to a Math summer program to enhance his skills and be a good problem solver in Mathematics using a different method which is the Singapore Math Method.
Since we were situated in Singapore before, I heard a lot of positive feedbacks about the Singapore Math. SG Math is a teaching method that is based on mastery and understanding. You can read more about this at https://www.singaporemath.com/what-is-singapore-math/.
Right after his 4th quarter exam (May 18, 2021), I enrolled him to a 3-week summer program in Singapore Math Problem Solving using Model Method at MMC Tutorial which I found in Facebook. It is synchronous and asynchronous class for 3 weeks that started on May 22, 2021.
At first, my son is catching up on this new method. Few days later, he learned a lot and mastered it. We were amazed and very happy.
Just want to flex our child’s evaluation report after his completion of the program.
