Making patterns out of coloured papers and shapes.
It took him hour to finish the cutting of shapes, especially the circle. He wants to cut it straight but it always come out crooked or semi-circle. He almost gave up but I always tried to cheer and remind him that he needs to try and try again to get the desired result. Patience is a virtue as I always say to him. Nothing good will happen if he stop and continue to get angry.
Kids are easily get frustrated. When our kids have tantrums, we, the parents are much needed to be on their side. We need to guide them and process their emotions. Be more patient in dealing with them. I know sometimes, it’s hard and we ourselves are getting frustrated, too but this is our role as parents- to help them learn and guide them to the best of our abilities and by God’s grace.
