We are on our second week! Books are still on the way so here are some of the highlighted activities we had over the week.
It is his first time to try cursive writing and he enjoyed it. He even wrote his name in cursive on his own. Not bad for first timers.
We reviewed reading time on a clock and had some fun game. The game is like ‘snakes and ladder’ wherein we need to read the time as we throw the dice and move one backward if failed to read the time. Both of us had fun playing the game!
We reviewed months of the year and had a few activities like crossword puzzle and answering questions.
The most challenging subject is to teach Filipino language. My son is still learning our language and he’s trying his very best to learn. The activity was answering simple questions in Filipino.
This activity was a review of the days of the week in Filipino. I got this activity at the The Filipino Homeschoolers website. The website is informative. It provides a lot of activities and ideas which is very useful for a newbie like me in homeschooling.
We had an awesome week and we are looking forward for more weeks and months of learning together.
